My Birthday!

It's my birthday! Yesterday was crazy stormy so I'm really grateful for the perfect weather today. I'm also really grateful to celebrate another year of health, happiness and love! I'm so lucky to have people in my life who love me unconditionally and encourage me every day.

My husband and my mom took me to Piquant in Hyde Park Village for birthday brunch. I did tell them that I wanted a very Parisian birthday weekend so it was the perfect choice. I had the most amazing banana bread French toast with Chantilly cream and banana slices! I wish I could eat it every morning!

I've been on the hunt for a Rebecca Minkoff MAB in Neon Pink and after months of intense Googling and eBay searches I'm the proud new owner of this gorgeous bag! My very sweet husband snapped one up for me and it's a seriously perfect birthday present.

One of the gifts from my mom that I really love is this little Kate Spade jewelry box. She's experienced Audrey's jewelry theft first hand so she knows how important lids are in this house.

Keeping with the Parisian theme, I had to wear this adorable Eiffel Tower tee!

Just a few of an embarrassing number of macarons I ate this weekend. These are Chocolate and Chocolate Praline from Le Macaron.

Chocolate Pi.

It absolutely poured today which put a bit of a damper on the Parisian themed birthday weekend but we did make it to Chocolate Pi for macarons! Chocolate Pi opened not long ago in the Epicurean Hotel in Hyde Park and they have some seriously tasty treats. They have so many tempting macaron flavors but I ended up going with Chocolate and Red Velvet - both are amazing! It's also super cute inside and the staff is so friendly. I will definitely be adding Chocolate Pi to my list of favorites!

Cheerful Flowers.

Fresh, bright blooms and sparkly headbands make Mondays more fun! Can't wait for my birthday on Sunday!

Sunday Funday!

My very sweet husband woke me up with a latte in bed in my very cute Henri Bendel mug!

Once the caffeine kicked in, I decided to make our very favorite whole wheat blueberry banana pancakes.

We made our usual Whole Foods trip this afternoon for groceries and I grabbed some really pretty pink roses to make the week a little more fun. I rarely make it through the door without stopping to look at all of the flowers.

Another beautiful Saturday in Tampa Bay! We headed to Hyde Park Village to have lunch and do some outdoor window shopping. I opted for a gray shirt, white cutoff shorts, a sparkly headband and an icy blue Kate Spade Leslie bag.

We had lunch at a really cute and modern French restaurant called Piquant. I really liked the feel of the decor and our food was so good!

Piquant also has an espresso bar with a seriously tempting display of pastries and desserts.

These Eiffel Tower cookies are adorable!

Outfit of the Day.

Sticking with the classics today - my favorite Citizens of Humanity Avedon jeans, a cozy white tee, a sparkly headband and Miss Dior.

Aziz Ansari.

"Aziz is in the building? We gotta find a new building."

Aziz Ansari brought his Modern Romance show to St. Petersburg last night and it was hilarious! Chris and I don't go to a lot of concerts but comedy shows are definitely our thing. We love Aziz and we laughed so hard during his show. Moshe Kasher - the opening act - was really funny too. If the Modern Romance tour comes to a city near you, you should definitely go see it!

I wore a dotted black and white chiffon tank with cozy Paige Denim skinny pants (a steal from Nordstrom Rack) , a sparkly headband and my favorite little bow clutch.

Beachside Brunch.

Beautiful view from our table at brunch in South Florida!

The cutest little alarm clock around! It's Caturday and Audrey wants me to wake up!

Hockey Night in the Chase Club.

Despite the score, we had a great time at the Tampa Bay Lightning game last night! It was the first home game since the Olympic break and all of the Marty St. Louis trade drama. Steven Stamkos is the new team captain and he looked like he hadn't missed a beat even though he's been recovering from a broken leg since November.

We watched the game from the Chase Club with a bunch of Chris's coworkers and their spouses instead of from our usual seats.

The view was great and I'm pretty sure I ate about a hundred chicken empanadas.

My Weekend.

What a beautiful weekend! The weather on Saturday was so perfect that we decided to head over to Hyde Park to grab lunch and walk around Hyde Park Village.

Kate Spade bag, Chanel lipstick and gloss, Prada sunglasses, striped tank from Target, AE shorts, Kelly Elizabeth headband.

We went to Fruitwood - a really great pizza place that makes everything fresh when you order. They also sell a bit of produce, fresh juices, and some amazing smelling coffee. All of their seating is outside and covered so it's perfect for people watching. We both ordered their Pink Flamingo pizza and it's amazing!

After lunch we went to walk around and shop. We discovered a chocolate place that makes their own version of Frozen Hot Chocolate. I absolutely love the Frozen Hot Chocolate at Serendipity in NYC so we will definitely be going back there to give it a try. Fingers crossed that it tastes exactly the same! Among our many stops was Anthropologie where I found the funniest cat glasses.

After we left Hyde Park we watched the afternoon Lightning game and went on a movie date to Cinebistro to see Non-Stop. Sure it was a little far fetched but it's Liam Neeson!

Sunday morning I made our very favorite blueberry banana pancakes and caught up on the all the new content on The Everygirl. They have the most interesting features like career profiles and apartment tours for home and office decorating inspiration. After a few minutes of reading, I was feeling super motived and so began the Spring cleaning rampage.

Sunday evening was all about hockey and the Oscars! I was so excited to see Lupita Nyongo'o win. Not only is she beautiful and stylish, she's kind and intelligent! Her dress was gorgeous and I love a sparkly headband!

All in all, it was a fabulous weekend!
